I loved every minute of my job when I was still working as a Patient Representative in one of the most prestigious health care clinics in Summit County, Colorado.  At first, I was truly overwhelmed with the job especially that it was my first real job here in the United States.  I was just so lucky because my co-office girls, the doctors and the nurses that I worked with were so patient and understanding with me.

The Clinic Manager and the other girls in the office really took care of me.  They are just great to work with.  Come to think of it, said clinic must be a member of the U.S. Physician’s Purchasing Group (USPPG) since the charges for every medical services are just average considering that Summit County is known to be expensive, because it is a ski resort area.  I remember that our manager is the one in-charge of acquiring all the medical supplies of the clinic.  She mentioned once that she was happy that she found a supplier where she was able to save on vaccine and medical supply purchases.  Yeah, our clinic must have gotten all its medical supplies from U.S. Physician’s purchasing Group (USPPG).

Oh boy, I missed that working place.  I really had fun there and I missed my workmates.  I hope and pray that when I can go back to work in the future, I could be in a very ideal working environment again.  I truly hope so.

Today marks as a very important milestone in my blogging feat.  I started my first entry in this site August 4, 2008.  Wow, it has been a year!  Happy 1^st Birthday, Cindy’s Notes & Thoughts!  Oh, my!  What a milestone, right?

Having said that, I want to thank everyone who has read and followed this blog – from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!  I am just overwhelmed with the fact that it has been a year and going strong as ever even if I don’t have a pr right now.  Oh, well!

So, what did I accomplish after a year of blogging?

• 553 entries (WOW!  They may not be mind-boggling posts but they are all mine!);
• Tons of blogger friends;
• A million of insights and learnings from my hopping from one blogsite to another; and
• Heaps, oodles and lots of FUN!

 Absolutely, it has been a year full of fun here in the blogosphere!  By God’s grace, this site will live for many more years.  I truly hope so.  Again, thanks bunches!

Do you want to hear something funny?  Or should I say something scary?  Well, after our dinner all of us (my family and my sister-in-law’s family) drove to the house that we will be living here in San Antonio for I don’t know how long.  We want to show them what it looks like.

So, when we got there hubby and I got out from the car; and I didn’t realize that he turned off the car and left the keys in the ignition.  I got out and shut the door and locked our little girl inside the car.  Oh my!  All of us were like:  “what to do now?”  The little girl was in her car seat wailing because she can’t get out.  Good thing that my sister-in-law has On-star in their Chevy truck that we were able to call for help and get our Tahoe opened.  It really is so amazing how advance our technology is.  They can open our computerized car doors with a telephone call from On-star.

Whoahhh!  What a great relief when we heard the unlocking click of the door!  Poor little girl!  Thanks to GM’s On-star.  What a life-saver!  Hubby said that what a timing since our On-star expires in three days and this incident happened.  It just calls for us to renew our it.  What do you think?

We checked out seven houses today that the Realtor recommended to us; and three stood out as nice for us.  The one that we really like has two main living spaces and has four bedrooms.  Yeah, it is big and we also like the back porch.  It has great neighborhood and is nearer to the grocery stores and to hubby’s work which is a real big plus.  It sure is a real winner for us!

We told the real estate agent that we are really interested in the said house and she gave us the application form to lease.  She told us to submit said application to the real estate office first thing in the morning tomorrow.  With hopes and prayers, we can get it within this week.  I truly pray that this will be the one!

We are involved with blogging online like many others.  We are always wondering how much traffic we can sustain in today’s market. We also like visiting websites especially during our spare time and leaving messages for them to check our site, too.  It’s just like online marketing your site to others so they may drop in my site and that’s what we called traffic, right?

Recently we learned about a new website called onlinesiesta.com where people are invited, in their spare time, to share their thoughts and opportunities in online advertising.  In today’s world of increased expense in advertising online, digital advertising is becoming the new way to get the message out with at a low cost.  Advertising on blogs is the new way to decrease the cost and more and more people are using this to increase their income privately.  Advertising will always go through different stages of growth and development but in the newest style of the information age, we will start seeing new and innovative ways to advertise without offending or causing irritation in the public eyes.

With this and text advertising, we find ourselves reading more and more blogs.  This new website enables us to share our opinions and advertize for others without the high cost involved.  We have already read many interesting things here and are looking forward to sharing our thoughts and reading others at online siesta.

Now that we are in another state with a totally different climate, this calls for a different kind of beauty regimen.  When I was still in Colorado, I choose skin care products which give a lot of moisture since it is very dry there.  Here in San Antonio is the other way around.  It is so humid that you need another kind of facial moisturizers, acne treatments, facial cleansers, antioxidants and the like which will be perfect for this kind of climate.
